Design Life: Langdon Hall: Redecorating a Historic Hotel (Ep. 79)
It's installation day at Langdon Hall Country House Hotel, and we're getting ready to do some heavy lifting, rug rolling, and a little painting by the fireside! Our fast and furious redecoration project is almost at the finish line, and in today's episode of my Design Life, we're taking you behind the scenes to see the bar, the Red Room dining parlour and the breakout conservatory makeovers in action! You'll learn one of my favourite make-it-work rug tricks, the "art" of placing art, and how to design window treatments with modern valances. A truck load of newly upholstered furniture is on the way and my car is loaded with all the installation day essentials I could fit... fresh greenery, decorative accessories and face masks for everyone! We gotta hustle, 'cause our time is almost up!
