What was once a bedroom pre-reno at Haus Heidi, is now a media room + flex sleep space where guests can stay the night thanks to a pair of daybeds from IKEA. Double them up and you've got extra snuggle up space for binge-worthy content on the giant projection screen.
- Super smart built-in storage means you can keep all the bedding close at hand and make up the beds in a snap!
- Swivel chairs are ideal for those who aren't into snuggling up together and prefer their personal space.
- To give easy-maintenance softness underfoot, I created a boldly striped pattern using 2 colours of Fuzion Flooring carpet tiles instead of broadloom. Media rooms are where snacks happen and that means spills too - if disaster strikes, just replace the stained tile and it will look as good as new!
- Textural patterned Brewster wallpaper wraps the cool and moody palette right up the walls - this one's from my collection: Palm Weave Linen.
- With the addition of smart systems like this home theatre JVC Canada projector and wireless Sonos sound system, we're pretty sure the teens will be calling dibs on this room.
