IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR U.S. CUSTOMERS - AT THIS TIME, RETURNS NOT ACCEPTED

Duties, Taxes & Returns for U.S. Orders:

We love our U.S. neighbours and are so grateful for your support! Due to recent changes in U.S. customs rules, all Spritz Collection orders shipping from Canada to the U.S. are now subject to import duties and taxes, no matter the order value. These fees are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid upon delivery. While we wish it were different, we’re unable to cover or reimburse these charges, and unfortunately, product returns cannot be accepted due to these duties and customs restrictions. Please keep this in mind when placing your order.  

SPRITZ COLLECTION

We gladly accept returns on Spritz Collection items, including dresses, blouses, tunics, robes, napkins and pillows; however, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Perfectly Imperfect:
Hand printed and handcrafted, our collection carries the charm of true craftsmanship—irregularities and all. Registration marks from wooden blocks, slight variations in stitching, and minor differences in size are part of their unique character. These subtle variations are not considered defects, but part of what makes each piece special.

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

No need to contact us first—simply include your original packing slip (or a note with your order number) in the return package. As return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, we recommend using a trackable service so you can monitor your return’s progress.

Important: Returns must be dropped off at the post office within 10 days of receiving your item to be eligible for a refund. If there's ever an issue with your return, we may ask for proof of drop-off (such as a receipt or tracking confirmation) showing it was sent within that timeframe.

Once we receive your item and confirm it is in unused, original condition, we’ll process your return and issue a refund to your original payment method, minus the original shipping cost. If your item arrived damaged or defective, you’ll receive a full refund, including the original shipping fee. You’ll receive an automatic confirmation email as soon as your return is processed.

Please allow 1–5 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

International Returns (outside of USA) - An important Note for International Customers

If you’re returning an item from outside Canada, please be sure to clearly mark your package as a “Return of Merchandise” on the customs form. This helps avoid unexpected import duties or COD charges when it arrives in Canada.

We’re a small business and unfortunately can’t cover customs charges on returned items. If a return isn’t properly marked and duties are charged, we may have to refuse the parcel and have it sent back to you.

To keep things smooth and simple, here are a few tips:

  • Use a tracked postal service 

  • Clearly write “RETURN – NO COMMERCIAL VALUE” on both the customs form and the outside of the package

  • Under “reason for export,” select or write “Return of Goods” or “Returned Merchandise”

We do not accept returns on wallpaper or fabric orders. In the rare event that your wallpaper or fabric arrives damaged or flawed, please contact us by email: customercare@sarahrichardsondesign.com and we will gladly provide a replacement at no charge.
