Each piece has been thoughtfully sewn with shrinkage in mind, so don’t panic if it seems roomy when you try it on! We recommend washing your robe upon receipt and putting it in the dryer on a medium setting for about 20 minutes and then air-drying for the remainder. Anticipate approximately 2-3 inches of shrinkage in the body and sleeve length, and about 1-2 inches in width.
With washing and wear, the robe will soften, relax, and develop a more tactile, lived-in feel—becoming fluffier and even more comfortable over time. Like a cherished vintage quilt, it’s designed to grow softer, better, and more personal the more it’s worn and loved.
